What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion treatments are typically performed in salons or spas by aesthetician-trained staff who specialize in microdermabrasion. They use a variety of different instruments to perform the procedure. Including a derma roller (a handheld device that has tiny crystals attached to it) or an electronic instrument that pulls out unwanted particles from the top layer of skin. The instruments are then rinsed off with water before they’re sanitized by hand.

A doctor will cleanse the area with an antiseptic cream or gel before applying a topical anesthetic cream to numb the area. Then they’ll use a hand-held instrument called a microdermabrasion tool to gently rub the surface of the skin in small circular motions.

The tool has several different sized crystals at its tip that are designed to remove dead cells from the surface of the skin. This helps reduce fine lines and other signs of aging.

Once you’re done with your treatment, you’ll usually have some sunburned skin for about 24 hours after treatment. Because of all the blood loss caused by removing dead cells from your face. You may also feel tenderness or discomfort in some areas after treatment. As well as redness or swelling in those areas for several days following treatment.

Microdermabrasion uses medical grade crystals to treat skin issues ranging from dull and yellowish areas, large pores and anti-aging. This treatment is done by applying medical grade crystals on the skin’s surface.  A hand held device over a vacuum directly on to the outer layer of the skin’s surface. These crystals are then vacuumed away immediately removing visibly dead cells.

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure that can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is because it uses a combination of gentle mechanical exfoliation and chemical peels to achieve the desired results. By removing superficial layers of the skin, microdermabrasion helps to improve its texture and tone, which will improve your overall appearance and complexion.

2. Spots and Hyperpigmentation due to age reduces

Aging brings with it many changes, including changes in the skin’s ability to protect itself from environmental damage. The aging process can result in age spots (also known as solar lentigines) which are small brown spots on your skin’s surface caused by genetic factors or high levels of exposure to ultraviolet light from the sun over time.

Microdermabrasion can help reduce these types of unsightly discolourations on your skin due to their sensitivity to UV rays. It also removes any excess melanin in these areas. Which helps to reduce their visibility as well as encourage them to fade away naturally over time through natural processes such as collagen production within affected areas
